November 2018 – DTW was engaged by WSO Finance Pty Limited, the funding vehicle for the M7 tollroad in western Sydney as the Investor’s Debt Arranger in connection with an A$75 million investment by an Asian based investor in the Westlink M7 A$615 million multi-tranche US Private Placement (USPP).
DTW worked on a collaborative basis with the Issuer and the appointed Agents to successfully complete the US PP financing which closed in December 2018. The combined proceeds have been used to refinance existing short-term bank facilities, as well as for general corporate purposes.
The ability of DTW’s Asian investor to deliver to the Westlink M7 flexible and cost effective long-term debt financing under US PP format documentation was a positive development in Australian capital markets.
